Prepping for a visit to the Western Front : many in our families fought there in WW1 and so far over  50 have been identified  as having died on the Western Front. Nearly 50 also served in WW1 at Gallipoli where 8 died, others served in Palestine in the Middle East, and German South West Africa (Namibia) –  1 died in Namibia – with another dying in Australia after service in Papua New Guinea in the ANMEF.
